A productive couple of days

Friday I had a short shift at work so I finished at 3. Since it's still light until about half 5 now I decided to follow up on Ron's lunging lesson. Beth came to assist and we took him up the ménage since storm Doris has soaked the ground in the fat paddock. He was pretty up and alert but that's allowed given that he was in a brand new place, the horses up there were being brought in for the evening and it was feeding time for the chickens just behind the ménage lol. We did walk and trot in both directions with him again and he was super good, very happy with our little Ronpony's progress!
Then yesterday after helping move a pony to a new home V and I decided it would be a fab idea to go on a hack. It was hammering it down and super windy. I'm a self confessed fair weather rider. I don't know what possessed me to do this but I did and I didn't regret it!
Protect the saddle from the rain!

Clearly both thinking 'Why are we doing this?'
He was super good and we ended up having a fantastic time. We were out for about an hour and a half and he was foot perfect the entire time. We popped out briefly into the village but mostly just hacked around the woods and lanes on the farm and both ponies we superstars!

  1. Looks awesome! Love all those roads for hacking out! Also sometimes a good ride in the rain is surprisingly satisfying haha

    1. We do have some really cute hacking routs :)

Ponies love it when you chat with us!
